Do You Know a British Person Aged 100 or Over? We'd Love to Hear From You.
According to latest statistics, the population of people aged 100 and above in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the number of men aged 100 or over has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the identical years, the amount of female centenarians almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to receive stories from those aged 100 or over, their relatives or friends, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and shifts.
